I regularly carry out research in the Borthwick Institute, York Reference library, York City Archives and also the research room of York Family History Society. So, during these visits I can look up the record you need to check and either transcribe or provide copies of the record.
For example, if you need to check a baptism, marriage or burial in the parish records for York and the surrounding area, or would like a monumental inscription checking. Perhaps you’d like something looked up in the electoral rolls or poll books for York.
Any record that you simply want to know the fuller contents of can be looked up for you under this service. Provided you can give me the name, date and what record you would like checking I’ll do the look up for you when I’m next at the appropriate record depository.
